Global Consulting Firm Lease Brings Repositioned Roseland, N.J. Office Building to Near Full Occupancy

ROSELAND, N.J., August 23, 2018 – A global consulting firm’s newly signed lease for 20,000 square feet at 56 at Roseland brings the high-end property to nearly full capacity. The milestone spurred joint-venture owner Mountain Development Corp. (MDC) to throw a celebratory “thank you” reception for tenants, bankers, brokers, design professionals, counsel and many others who all played integral roles in the development of the 400,000-square-foot headquarters-quality building, which is located at 56 Livingston Ave. in Roseland, N.J.

More than 150 professionals and guests enjoyed time to relax and socialize on comfortable lounge seating beside the fire pits and beneath the large-scale green wall in the spacious open-air courtyard. Fine food and beverages were catered by the building café operator and included a wide range of delicacies and drinks.
“We were delighted to welcome another prestigious tenant to 56 at Roseland, and to celebrate with existing tenants and decided to utilize the occasion as an opportunity to say ‘thanks’ to everyone who has worked so hard to made this property such a success,” said Michael Seeve, president of MDC. “This is a building unlike any other. It’s more than just the contemporary office environments and the array of amenities. The elite tenancy has created a special, high energy environment for professionals who work on complex, exciting projects with dynamic clients and enjoy being surrounded by others with similar endeavors and practices. It makes for a very rewarding experience when so many high achieving people are gathered together. We could not be more proud of the accomplishments of the tenants.”

The new lease — which brings the best-in-class office building to near-full occupancy — and the subsequent festivities, represented the latest milestones for the best-in-class office building. In 2017, MDC completed the repositioning of 56 at Roseland into one of New Jersey’s premier suburban office settings. The MDC led venture invested more than $40 million to redevelop, contemporize and tenant the property — which formerly served as the headquarters for a single tenant, Organon International — and reposition it into a contemporary, dynamic and multi-tenanted work environment.

Guests also toured 56 at Roseland’s offices and innovative amenity spaces during the event. The revamped facility features a new on-site café with a 400-seat dining area which is also suitable to host events and seminars, a health club/wellness center with full lockers and shower facilities, and security/full concierge services. Outdoor amenities include an exterior lounge area with fire pits, a green wall, hiking trails, volleyball court and walking paths. Technical features include an optimized Level 2 Data Center possessing a network operations hub with technical support space. The indoor and outdoor enhancements assure current and future tenants a complete “live/work/play” experience.

Set on 56 acres in Essex County at the Essex and Morris County border, 56 at Roseland is easily accessible from Exit 5B of I-280 with easy access to major roadways including I-287, I-80, the Garden State Parkway, I-95, and routes 10 and 46.
